ISP Audit & Compliance Manager Profile  
Purpose of Role  
The purpose of an Audit & Compliance Manager role is to ensure that a company adheres to legal standards and internal policies. Overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations. Conducting audits of financial statements, internal controls, and operational processes. Assessing risks and developing procedures to mitigate them. This role will be based in Hyderabad or Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Good working knowledge in conducting statutory audits of companies and societies within the timelines as mandated by respective regulatory requirements. 
  • Work with the external auditors (Big 4), make audit plans for the multiple entities, provide information in the required schedules and annexures as part of the audit. 
  • Experienced in managing corporate accounting and financial controlling that enables in accomplishing audits of all India entities in line with the statutory requirements. 
  • Hands on experience in preparing the Financial Statements of companies as well as Societies in line with the Ind AS and IFRS. 
  • Experienced in financial controlling, assess the current internal control system and identify risks, develop and implement controls and governance to manage risks. 
  • Identifying potential inconsistencies, inaccuracies and irregularities around company’s practices. 
  • Candidate should have experience in preparing policies, processes and SOP documents in consultation with the Finance Controller to ensure controls and governance system and best practices are in place. 
  • Experienced in drilling down financial data from the ERP systems, carry out the analytics and information required to accomplish the audits. 
Skills, Qualifications and Experience 
  • Experienced in carrying out statutory audits, internal audits, internal controls and compliances and accounting in organisations commensurate with the scale and complexity having multiple entities. 
  • Any prior experience in education industry would be preferred. 
  • Should be proactive with a mindset suitable for a start-up eco-system 
  • Experience working with Netsuite is an added advantage.  
  • Strong team player, understanding that you deliver as a team, and it is always best when you collaborate to find solutions to problems. 
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and consistently, with effective listening and excellent writing skills. 
  • Self-initiative, well time-managed and detailed oriented 
  • Role involves travelling to the schools during audits.  
  • 7 - 10 years experienced chartered accountant in mid-size companies (having t/o 200 - 300 Crs) or in reputed CA consulting firms having clients such T/O.
